Today I awoke to (look above) this! I broke in to song! Now the dogs not only know I am "nuts" but so does Mr. Ron. (I am off to do breakfast ...an attempt at redemption)
It isn't Glee...It's better...'click here'
I am impressed with a package I got in the mail yesterday. This was my first from Germany. This was from the girls and it had...Well I think I'll post another pic.....
It is the three jeweled birds right and left which the girls sent from Germany for me. I am told they are hand made. I happen to know the "hand made" part wasn't something my offspring did. But this was so sweet and I had spent the day removing stairway carpeting with my bare hands. Toughest job in all of the land. I swear carpet installers get paid by the tack strip and the amount of metal spikes they can get in to each tread.
I am off the pull more carpet today and get Gretchen's room back to "unremodeled." But I just saw a
Baltimore Oriole...They make their nest in hanging baskets if you remember your first grade teacher. I do. Her name was Mrs Kanerva Anderson. She got all five of the King kids I think. She should be Canonized!
I remember mom telling Martha to please not talk about their "cocktail parties" at "Show N Tell". Mrs. Anderson would say, "Barbara does that chair have your name on it? I would look. She was always "right...it didn't and I moved on to an empty one for "reading circle".
I got my first "I" from Mrs. Anderson. She wrote, "Barbara is unsure of her phonics."
It was devastating. All "S's" and one bigger than life "I" for "Improvement" needed. Those "I's of life stay with you for a lifetime...
What is it Deb says...."Well, you can't fix stupid."
Post Script..After the Oriole hit the window and did survive.. I install "Stealth" Bat Wings. Now I only attract small beaded birds from Germany.
Post Post Script. . . and raccoon hair on the feeders too. Equal Opportunity Bon Appetite!
Post Post Post Script: Got the bedroom done and Gretchen said, "I can't wait to sleep in my bed this summer." And there is a rumor Josh will be home (in Germany) by my and Ron's 36th Wedding Anniversary. Best gift ever! Meg's is also loving her new computer...Best gift ever 2!
