Been exercising EVERY day for 27 days today. I calculated on the modest side this has been 22.5 hours and 16,200 burned calories. I have to start at zero if I miss a (ONE, UNO) day according to my personal trainers Gretchen and Meg. Meg is my original personal trainer but as I am "an equal opportunity mom" I will add to my accountability and blame them both for this training plan. I am not ever getting on a scale so don't ask the obvious. When I started this I promised I would not get on the scale unless I missed a day. I am presently more afraid of the scale than the elliptical. I don't need anyone telling me how good I am doing either. Frankly Ron has done this for 35 years I don't think I ever told him , "Oh, great job!' Frankly I think it is becuz he did his calisthenics thru contractions, diaper changes, sicknesses, rivalries, etc., etc., etc. The other thing that keeps me going is Josh. I am going to pray "elliptically" for the end of this war every day he is gone.
Ron was laughing out loud this morning reading "The New York Times." (This isn't a norm for him and his reading adventures.) I found out he was reading an article on how states will dig deeper to raise taxes to pay for virtually everything. It mentions taxing garbage pick up, hair cuts, dry cleaners, dating services, clowns, bowling night, and high end enjoyment like balloon rides. The last mention of "high end enjoyment" really should ticked off the clowns and bowlers. WTF... They aren't "high end"? (What about pony rides given to Gretchen on Meg's Birthday 1989) Clowns and bowlers are sure to be the newest movement... 'The Beer Party.' Unlike 'The Tea Party' movement and now 'The Coffee Party' movement, beer is already taxed!
Gretchen just called and she is watching my Ti Vo on her computer thru my Sling Box. She is so excited. Meg got it figured out and Gretchen is going to fall asleep watching the "Kardashians." which of course this Mom TiVo'd for their enjoyment. Puts a new variety on "Arm Services Television". Meg has yet to get the internet in her German farm home. "Chelsea Lately" awaits as does "The Soup!" This technology is simply amazing.
I am simply amazing. Don't need anyone to tell me either!
